I was born in December 1961 in the surroundings of Buenos Aires and I have lived in Punta del Este since 1993. I am a writer and a visual artist, and I embrace mosaic with passion. I identify myself with its harsh untamable matter and enjoy the multiple challenges it faces me with. Also, it serves as a baseline for my development in combined arts, a field I am beginning to explore as joyful as a kid in a circus.
From the conceptual, my recurrent topics are the potentiality of mankind and the search for empowering tools. For this search it turns is indispensable to connect with emotions. With this respect, mosaic, with all its philosophical wealth, reveals itself as an ally. The technique has in its spirit inspiring valuations. Starting from the search of materials, reviving the discarded and reinventing it in a kind of resilience akin to our resources. Continuing with the arduous modification of the matter, in a genuinely physical work and devoting ourselves to a task that requires hours of creativity and care. There is in this trade a loving and patient attitude.
As for the rest, I try to be straight, clear and supply some kind of support to achieve a balance between a slow construction and an instant destruction. Sometimes I succeed, but some other I am a burden, like in this lines, but I trust that my work will turn out to be more generous than my words.
